PRINT EXCEL WORKSHEET COMMENTS

One of our clients replied to last month's Innovations newsletter, when we explained Outlook Templates (see the article here), asking us how to include Excel comments when printing. We explain this, along with some other comment-related tips, below.

In the Page Setup dialog box > Sheet tab, select an option in the Comments drop-down:

 

OPTION 1 - AT END OF SHEET

This prints the comments on a separate sheet and includes the cell address, the name of the person commenting and the comment.

Hint: If reviewing a hard copy of the file, print it with the row numbers and column letters by selecting the Row and column headings option to the left of the Comments option.

 

OPTION 2 - PRINT COMMENTS AS DISPLAYED

Display individual comments by right-clicking the cell and choosing Show/Hide Comments OR Display all comments on the Review tab > Show all Comments.
